Preparing for strikes on Russian territory.
The Ukrainian Defence Ministry announced the successful testing of new ballistic missiles. A video with footage of the Neptune missile system and a statement on priorities for 2025 was published on the department's official account on X.
"Long-range weapons are the key to reducing the military potential of the aggressor. In 2024, Ukraine expanded missile production, tested new ballistic and cruise missiles, and strengthened its air defence. In 2025, the emphasis will continue to be on high-precision deep strikes and the latest missile defence," the Ukrainian MoD said.
Such missiles are guaranteed to hit the most protected military, industrial, and infrastructure facilities in Russia.
Possible targets for strikes include:
Oil refineries and oil storage facilities, which would reduce Russia's export revenues and create a fuel crisis;
Ammunition depots and command centers of the Russian army, which would destroy the occupiers' military logistics;
Large industrial facilities are involved in the military program, including factories producing missiles, drones, and armored vehicles.
